MEET DANEBURY!

Due to your contributions in purchasing of the "take off" hoodie, the lamina family were able to adopt this bald eagle!

Danebury has lived at the Hawk Conservancy Trust since 1993, and is a veteran in our flying displays. He flies beautifully, with elegance and grace as he soars the skies across Reg’s Wildflower Meadow at the Trust.

Danebury has a very gentle manner – surprisingly so for a Bald Eagle. He is a lovely bird to work with. However, he does have a naughty side, and can be quite cheeky when he wants to be! He is a stunning bird, with the iconic white
plumage of a Bald Eagle around his head. It can take Bald Eagles up to five
years to develop these feathers, and are covered in brown feathers before this.
